What is Learning Mode?

Q- I just started the trial period for OA and so far I am very impressed with the program. One question though. What is "learning mode" and when should it be used? So far, I haven't been able to find a definition of this. Thanks!

A- Online Armor maintains a set of rules about what is allowed on your system, and what is prevented from happening.

The purpose of learning mode is to "learn" your system. When learning mode is off, you will get pop ups that you have to respond to so rules can be made. In learning mode Online Armor will be silent, and it will make the rules itself - automatically allowing everything. So, after a period in learning mode one should always check which programs have been allowed - unless you are sure you are clean.

Note: that means that while in learning mode, anything will be allowed. So, if you are infected with nasties, then learning mode will let them run too.
