Why is this program giving me a keylogger warning?

Online Armor monitors what programs do - their behaviours. While we keep a database of dangerous and safe programs, this is mainly to help you make decisions on which programs you should trust. Most of our effort goes on making the "safe" list of programs, so you don't get warned unless there is potential to be concerned (of course, this list will get longer over time but until then there will be things).

Why Online Armor is different is that it does not rely upon knowing that certain programs are bad. If a program (even a brand new one) sets itself up so that it is theoretically capable of recording what you type, Online Armor alerts you so you can decide what to do. Some programs need to know every time a key is pressed to detect whether you are still at your keyboard. Others use this technique for creating hot-keys that will work in any program.

Others use it for stealing data. So, if an unknown or strange-looking program gives this warning, take care. Use your judgement or ask for help in the forums at www.tallemu.com.
