To keep your computer even safer, Online Armor AV+ incorporates antivirus protection from Kaspersky, one of the most effective antivirus programs available today.

Online Armor AV+ uses Kaspersky antivirus to scan Unknown programs when they try to run to help ensure that they are not malicious. While malware could still get past even the best antivirus programs, this helps to ensure that your computer is free of infection and makes Online Armor even easier to use.

The antivirus engine is also used to scan internet content, including web pages and email attachments to help prevent known malware from ever reaching your system.

You can run an antivirus scan of your system from the Online Armor Control Panel under General, by right-clicking the Online Armor tray icon, or by scheduling recurring antivirus scans in Options under Scan Settings.

While you do not need to use an antivirus program with Online Armor AV+ to keep your system free of infection, you still have the option to do so. Because of how Online Armor AV+ incorporates Kaspersky antivirus, Online Armor AV+ is still compatible with third-party antivirus and other anti-malware scanners.
